The sheets can be slightly over or undersized or they could be slightly miss-cut, or the finish may have a blemish.
DISCLAIMER. We do not and cannot state what the defect(s) may be or how serious they may be. We cannot 'select' panels to only have a particular defect.
*Note - The 3mm Ply has a Poplar core, The 4mm and 6mm are all birch
That said with you can still achieve a good yield from these sheets when used for pyrography or other craft uses.
WHY DO WE HAVE THEM? Well put simply we have high standards and generally from our normal listings or if the board has any sort of size error or miss-cut it goes to 'seconds'.
The sheets are laser safe (low fume) Birch ply sourced from an environmentally friendly FSC renewable source.
Sheet sizes are provided in mm millimetres and are subject to a tolerance of +-3mm. Where provided sizes A4 A3 A2 are a rough approximation to the sheet size.
Please note. Wood is a natural product and the layered construction of plywood can cause stresses that can cause mild warp and bending, High levels of moisture can make the bend and twist more pronounced. Storing in a warm environment and storing with a heavy weight or heavy board on top will minimise warping but some warp and bend is to be expected.
The Sheets are saw cut and can have roughness on the cross cut edges
