Galvanised Steel Craft Wire 20m 1.2mm

Pick the width of wire you require from the selection above. The length of wire on the coil depends on the width, 23m for the 0.71mm, 25m for the 1mm, 20m for the 1.2mm, 15m for the 1.6mm

Suitable for use in jewellery work, armature building, and general model making using clays or plasticine.

These wires offer considerably more strength than aluminium wire (the 1.6mm galvanised is for example about as strong as the 3.2mm aluminium) but are harder to form and require wire cutters.

Our aluminium wires start with the fine 0.56mm gauge and go up to the robust 4.5mm. Soft and easy to work with even the 2mm wire can be easily cut with a pair of scissors but the 4.5mm is best cut with snips.
