Potclay is a reinforced air-drying modelling clay, providing the attributes of clay with the convenience of other modelling materials, yet it is characterised by being non-sticky and with slow shrinkage during drying.

*This is clay - not plasticine.  Once dry you can't use it again.

Potclay air dries without the need for heating, it can be used with professional pottery tools or with typical household items forks.spoons etc. As it is nylon reinforced it is less brittle than normal clay. It is suitable for use by both children and adults. While its reinforced finish makes it stronger.

If the clay is fired then it acts like normal clay and the nylon dissipates (goes away) during the firing process.

Please note. Warning.  This is old stock and sometimes the clay can develop a green algae like film in the bag.  If this happens you can just scrap it off and the clay is good to go.
